This is my local fish and chip shop. It's been here for at least 25 years which is as long as I've lived here, and it's changed hands a few times, but for the most part, the quality remains the same and so does what they sell.
Overall it's not a bad chippy although I have to say there are definitely better but they're further away. We always get a large chips to split between us because they're portions are pretty huge (specially at the end of the night if they've loads left!!!), and we've had more than one occasion where there have just been so many that we've had left overs even doing it this way.
I do find their batter a little bit too greasy to be honest, but then I generally don't buy anything battered so that doesn't really matter to me. They do lovely chips though, really nice soft ones what I call proper chip shop chips. -

Can't be beat for a 3.00 GBP lunch special of cod + chips. Fish was tasty and the chips were good with salt & vinegar. I will be going again before I return to the U.S.
